IUD Options We Offer

We provide both hormonal and non-hormonal IUDs. Your provider will help you choose what's best for you.

Hormonal IUD

Releases a small amount of progestin locally. Can lighten periods or stop them entirely. Options include Mirena/Liletta (up to 8 years), Kyleena (up to 5 years), and Skyla (up to 3 years).

Copper IUD (Paragard)

A hormone-free option that uses copper to prevent pregnancy. Ideal for those who prefer to avoid hormonal methods. Effective for up to 10 years.

IUD Consultation

Not sure which type is right for you? We'll review your health history, discuss your goals, and help you make an informed decision — no pressure, no rush.

Removal & Replacement

Whether you're ready to try for pregnancy, switch methods, or replace an expiring device, we provide comfortable removal and same-visit reinsertion if desired.

Your Comfort Is Our Standard

Modern Pain Management, Not an Afterthought

We believe no one should dread their IUD appointment. That's why we offer advanced comfort measures as part of every procedure — not as an add-on or exception.

Nitrous Oxide

Breathe it in during the procedure for calm and relaxation. Wears off within minutes. You will need to bring a driver. $50 fee for required single-use mask.

TENS Therapy

Gentle electrical stimulation that blocks pain signals during the procedure for real-time relief. No extra charge.

Heating Pads

Applied during your procedure to relax muscles and ease discomfort naturally. No extra charge.

Cervical Block

Local anesthetic applied to the cervix to significantly reduce sensation during insertion. No extra charge.

Want to discuss your comfort options before your procedure? Book a Sedation Gynecology Consultation so we can build a comfort plan that's right for you — in office or via telehealth.
