At Metro Area Advanced Practice Healthcare, our approach to gynecological care is centered on the well-being of the whole person — with an emphasis on harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and the Health At Every Size (HAES) philosophy.
In-person and telehealth visits available. We now offer sedation gynecology with nitrous oxide for patients who experience anxiety around gynecological procedures.

Annual Wellness Visits & Pap Smears
Comprehensive annual exams tailored to your age, risk factors, and health goals.
Menstrual Health
Evaluation and management of irregular periods, heavy bleeding, painful periods, and PCOS.
Menopause Care
Hormone assessment, management of symptoms, and ongoing support through the transition.
STI Testing & Treatment
Comprehensive screening, treatment, and risk reduction planning. PrEP available.
Pregnancy Options Counseling
Non-judgmental support and referrals for all options — including abortion support and referral.
Endometriosis
Evaluation, diagnosis support, and management of endometriosis symptoms.
What We Refer Out
Most gynecological care happens right here at our office. A few things require equipment we don't have on-site — book a Problem Visit and we'll either refer you to a specialist or order the imaging at a center that takes your insurance.
Procedures we refer to a specialist
- •Colposcopies — usually the next step after an abnormal pap. Requires a colposcope and specialized biopsy equipment.
- •LEEPs (loop electrosurgical excision procedure) — treatment for high-grade cervical dysplasia. Requires LEEP equipment and an electrocautery unit.
Imaging we order at an outside center
Many larger OB-GYN offices keep ultrasound and mammography equipment in-house. As a small primary-gynecology practice, we don't — but we'll order what you need at an imaging center that takes your insurance. Results come back to us so we can go through them with you.
- •Pelvic, transvaginal, and other gynecologic ultrasounds
- •Mammograms — screening and diagnostic
We do perform other in-office procedures, including endometrial biopsies, polyp removals, IUD insertions and replacements, and Nexplanon arm-implant placements.
